read more»Steve Airth is the lead pastor at GracePoint. Steve is passionate about teaching and sharing the good news of Jesus, and seeing people experience changed lives. He has a love for planting churches, sending missionaries and seeing the church have an impact on changing our world. He works at helping people find their gifts, applying them, and encourages people to think of what they could be. Steve believes that being a church planter gives him an opportunity not only think “outside the box,” but often times live outside that box. Before becoming a Christian he had many experiences that took him out into the world, including a bar room brawl that left him with a scar on his face. He is a tremendous testimony to the Grace of God.
Steve served as a Jr. High leader, youth pastor/director of a youth church, and associate pastor. Steve was on the Board for Evangelism and Church Planting. He is on the Conference board that oversees YouthQuest. He holds a Master’s of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary.
He has a wide variety of interests including: the theater, art, the Los Angeles Angels, golf and coaching soccer. He has a slight addiction to Starbucks upside down Carmel Mochiato’s. He loves dating his wife, Nicole. He also loves traveling the world, following sports and playing sports. Steve and Nicole have four children – Isaiah, Luke, Andrew, and Abigail. He thinks his kids are hilarious! Their family loves to travel, play games, play Nintendo, watch movies, eat and laugh together!
Other random stuff… Steve can remember large amounts of useless information – watch out, if you play board games with him. He loves Dr. Pepper and Starbucks. Some of his favorite words are, “It is so Beautiful or powerful, Skippy, and Biscuit lover.”

He believes that worship can be both enjoyable and God honoring, and that worship through song is a great way for expressing our love for God. Jeff was part of the original launch team for GracePoint. He has served on the worship team playing drums and guitar, and is an active leader with the youth group. He graduated from the Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona in 2009. In his free time he enjoys going to Disneyland and trying new restaurants with his fiancée, Carrie. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, practicing his instruments, and contemplating what God has in store for his life.
Other random stuff… he’s pretty quick with jokes, one-liners and comebacks. He has the annoying habit of drumming on everything, sometimes even people. He likes strawberry syrup in milk, mmm, and cheese on almost every entrée.

Being in charge of welcoming people to GracePoint is a joy to him. He feels God has called him to talk to people about the Lord and share that joy. Pat also serves as a leader with GracePoint Youth. He is currently studying Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona and is looking forward to serving people in the future. Pat enjoys working with the Welcome Team and motivates them to love others.
Other random stuff… he loves to dance, sing and talk to people! He is a Barista at Starbucks, so watch for that smiling face as you get your morning coffee!

She is passionate about seeing children and youth form personal relationships with Christ and develop in their faith. She has her MA in Education and has taught elementary school as well as college level courses. Kaylene is currently substitute teaching in Ontario. She loves listening to her kids sing and play their many instruments, watching films and designs that her son Nathan creates, sipping delicious Starbucks coffee with her daughter Rachel, and listening to her son Aaron’s alternative rock band. Kaylene is married to Joel, and they have three children – Nathan, Rachel, and Aaron. Kaylene is excited to help the children and youth at GracePoint move forward in their relationship to God.
Other random stuff… she has the annoying habit of starting a sentence and then drifting off… She raised horses as a teenager in Seattle. She is currently experiencing the Empty Nest Syndrome!

She loves working with young children and being one of the first people to plant the seeds of God’s love into their lives. She enjoys doing activities in class, which sometimes leave the kids a little messy. Michelle has had over 3 years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 2 years old as a preschool teacher, apart from her involvement in the children’s ministry at GracePoint. Michelle has served as a student leader, worship team vocalist, and Awana leader. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Cal State Fullerton and has her credential to teach elementary school. She married Nathan Jeffers in June of 2009 and enjoys helping him with their business.
Other random stuff… she is an amateur baton twirler. She likes to play Yahtzee and travel. She spends her free time scrap booking, reading, and shopping.

Jacob served as a youth leader at a youth church in Chino, CA before coming to GracePoint. He is excited about watching youth come to the Lord, have a good time, and grow in Him! Jacob is passionate about the Lord, and he conveys that to the youth! He is currently working on his Master’s Degree from Fuller Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Danielle, and loves to play Guitar Hero with friends in his spare time!
Other random stuff… he can hold a pencil in his eye! He can make a mean burger at Johnny Rockets, where he is the restaurant manager.

She has been director of Worship Ministries and is a former First Woman Chair of the Denominations General Conference Board. She is passionate about teaching the Bible, and seeing people continue studying and growing in Christ. Sandy has her BA in Music Education and has been teaching piano privately for 27 years. She loves quilting, scrap-booking, and family genealogy studies. Sandy is married to Jim and they have 3 children – Curt, Nicole, Travis, and 12 grandchildren. Their family loves to eat, play games, and swim in the pool – just about anything that brings them together.
Other random stuff… she is part of a fun group that does piano concerts using 4+ grand pianos at one time!

He believes the Technical Ministry needs to add to the worship service without drawing attention to the technical aspects. He enjoys working with Media Arts as he helps organize and design flyers, bulletins, and the website. He is passionate about introducing people to Jesus! Joel is married to Kaylene, and they have 3 children – Nate, Rachel and Aaron.
Other random stuff… He has memorized Galatians, Ephesians and Philippians. He loves bringing home sickly plants and nursing them back to health. He is addicted to checking his Blackberry.
Nathan Jeffers is on the Media Arts Team at GracePoint. He loves being able to make God’s word resonate with people visually. He thinks Christian media shouldn’t be boring or lame and is excited to be part of a church that takes media arts seriously. He is currently working on his completing his Bachelor of Arts in Film Production from Biola University. Nathan is married to Michelle Jeffers and they run a media business as a husband and wife team.
Other random stuff… He’s a Mac, Canon and Android user. He collects sugar packets from around the world and likes playing xbox with his wife. He loves dark chocolate and gummi bears.
