GP Softball Game
April 12, 2010
We had our softball game on April 11 at Ontario Christian High School. We were supposed to play against our friends at The Bridge, but they were unable to make it. So we pulled some people out of the stands and split into teams. It was an awesome time of softball and just hanging out with each other and laughing! It was great to let our competitive sides come out, watch people slide in shorts, and crash into each other trying to catch a fly ball. All in all we had a blast!
The pictures tell it all, smiles were everywhere, as was laughter. I’d like to close this blog with the top 5 reasons you should have been out there with us:
5) To see that at 60 – Jim still has got game
4) To Hear Mike Demoff say “Ole”, with every passing ground ball.
3) To watch Joe Knight break the Pastor’s nose
2) To see that the battle of the sexes definitely went to the females, they rocked!
1) …and the number one reason to come out was to see our mascot, “The Amazing Cody” - he does tricks, he cheerleads and even brought snacks for the kids!

Six People Baptized!
March 17, 2010
GracePoint celebrated six baptisms on Sunday, March 14! The church family joined together for lunch at the Mussers before the baptism. It was exciting to hear how Jesus has touched the lives of people in our church family. We congratulate…Allison, Alex, Erica, Abby, Keri and Noah, as they showed their faith through baptism.
Date Night
February 13, 2010
This past Friday night GracePoint invaded the Old Spaghetti Factory and ate them out of fresh bread and Spumoni ice cream. This is our annual date night event, where we make sure the ladies get out around Valentine’s, even if it is with 18 other couples. We played a game of loaded questions and found out some interesting things about each other…like some people want to take over the world and some are embarrassed that their exercise equipment needs to be dusted after they finally locate it.
