High Seas Series
Our kids are getting ready to start series called “High Seas” and that will also be the theme of our Vacation Bible School as well. We figured why should they have all the fun. So sit right back and you will hear a tale, a tale of a mighty ship that went out on some rough seas and eventually slammed into a sand bar. We will have a 3 hour tour, however it will be broken up over 3 weeks. Paul is the main sailor involved in Acts 27 and there are a few lessons that jump right out at us, like:
- How do we keep the faith in the midst of the storms?
- When I become a Christian, does life become problem free?
- Keeping on mission, in the midst of troubles.
- How can I stay calm under pressure?
- Where is God in the storm?
- What’s the deal with “fate and karma?”
It should be a good time, so pick up your boarding pass, by that I mean your car keys and drive to church this week. Enjoy the cruise, by that I mean the worship service should be a lot of fun. So lets set sail on the HIGH SEAS and keep the faith, keep on purpose and look for God in the midst of all of it.
Grace and Peace, Pastor Steve
