Set-Up and Hospitality

Set-Up
At GracePoint we like to refer to ourselves as a church in a box. All the pieces that make GracePoint run fit inside a trailer that has to be unpacked and packed again every Sunday morning. At 8am we set up chairs, tables, the sound system, the instruments, the kids areas and put up signs. Set-up is a great time to have good conversations and connect with people. At 9am we get together and pray to remind ourselves the real reason for all the work we do.
Welcome
It’s important that people feel welcome when they walk through the doors at GracePoint. We provide name tags to help people get to know one another as well as bulletins to help you know what’s going on in the church. At GracePoint you’ll always be greeted with a handshake and smile. Showing God’s love to those around us is an important part of being the Church and this is one of the ways we do that.
Coffee Shop
The Coffee Shop provides great refreshments to all who attend GracePoint. The coffee shop can be used as a tool to welcome new people (Would you like to have a cup of coffee with me?) It also provides nourishment to those who set-up church early each Sunday. And lastly it can be used as an opportunity to build relationships with the members of GracePoint. Not only do we provide food and drink on Sundays but also for special activities held after church such as BBQs, training seminars, etc. On Christmas we celebrate with a wonderful breakfast that is a great opportunity to invite family and friends. Helping out with the Coffee Shop (providing food, drink, or setup and cleanup) is a good chance to build friendships and make connections with people at GracePoint. If you’d like to join the Set-Up Team, the Welcome Ministry, the Coffee Shop or have any other questions, please email welcome@gracepoint.tv
