Sunday Worship, January 24th

Are there skeletons in your closet? Are there things in your life that you have kept hidden from God and/or the people closest to you? You are not alone if you answered “Yes.” Many of us have kept the junk in our life hidden. Unfortunately as painful as it is, it is necessary to confess these things and address them head on in order for a true Fresh Start to take place. God already knows our short comings. “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:13 God knows. We just need to be wiling to fess up. We cannot succeed in moving forward if there are things holding us back. It is encouraging to remember that Jesus died for All of our sins. He offers us grace. He offers forgiveness to things that appear unforgivable. He offers us a Fresh Start.
