Worship, February 28th

I’ve worked in customer service roles at my jobs for a number of years. Each company taught us to put the customers first and to really give them a quality experience. The problem was that there were too many rules and procedures that got in the way. Certain systems that were built into my jobs took away from my main purpose of offering great service. This is similar to problems that we see in the church. Our purpose is to love everyone and spread God’s Kingdom, but too often we get caught up in the wrong focus. In the Gospels we see the religious leaders worrying more about the law, the Sabbath, and clean and unclean practices, than showing the love of God. Jesus was quick to correct them. This week we’ll be digging in and looking at “Kingdom Priorities.” We’ll look at some of the things that are most important to God as we continue our series, “Travelin’ Through.” Please come and see!
