Worship, March 21

It seems like everyone is talking about money lately. Unemployment is high, cost of living keeps going up and up, and more things we “need” (but cannot afford) are being marketed at us constantly. Money is a big deal and there is no avoiding it. As Christians it is a good idea for us to examine how God wants us to live in every area of our life, including our finances. The bible says that “…the love of money is a root of all evil.” (1 Timothy 6:10) Too often that verse gets misused and people start to believe that “money is evil.” It’s not. It’s paper and metal. It’s what we do with it that matters. Come and see this week as we continue our series “Travelin through” and pastor Steve gives us some great insight on this topic.

These are the songs we will be singing for worship this Sunday:

Thanks for stopping by the blog. I hope you join me in worshiping the Lord this week. May God Bless you!

So, Steve is actually going a slightly different direction than originally planned, but I’m sure somehow the blog still ties into the sermon this week :) The message is going to be great!
